The diverse team, known as Invianers, works across five countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The Invia Group operates several popular portals including ab in den urlaub, invia.cz, travelplanet.pl and invia.hu. 

Our existing BI team is looking for support! You will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for complex data processes and optimise the system landscape. Take responsibility for the quality and efficiency of our data processing and set new standards in data organisation and analysis.

Your tasks

  • Significant involvement in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Optimisation and sustainable development of the system landscape
  • Improve and structure ETL processes in terms of BI architecture, data organisation and performance
  • Ensure ongoing operational data processing and maintenance of the company’s Data Warehouse
  • Prepare large volumes of data for use in analysis and reports
  • Accountability for quality assured and operational deliverables and project milestones

Your profile

  • Degree in (business) informatics, mathematics or comparable training with at least 2 years of professional experience
  • Profound practical knowledge of working with various databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) in Python or Java, Kubernetes, Git pipelines and AWS
  • Familiarity with BI front-end systems (Microstrategy, Tableau, Qlik, Power-BI or similar)
  • High level of self-motivation and interest in learning new technologies
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and think analytically
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of Czech or Polish is a plus
