You have finished your Master’s degree and you are passionate about tourism and E-Commerce? You are eager for a deep dive into an online travel company from the ground up, taking ownership for projects and develop yourself into a management position? We could be a good match! In our 18-month Trainee Tourism Management we are your career partner and accompany you to your target position within the ab in den urlaub company on a management level by getting to know our core departments and support you with our mentoring system. You will be located in our headquarter in Leipzig.
Your tasks
- Getting to know ab in den urlaub as an online travel agency from the ground up (this includes Customer Care, Product, Marketing and Purchase & Business Development)
- Develop a know-how of different departments, professional expertise, and cross-sectional processes
- Ownership for projects and subjects including presentation of working results in close cooperation with our CEO and department Directors
- Monitoring of market, technology trends and competition
- Further development and optimisation of processes
Your profile
- Master degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. tourism, E-commerce)
- First professional experiences as intern or working student or apprenticeship in a tourism profession (e.g. travel agent, hotel management)
- Great interest in tourism
- Engagement, ownership and team spirit
- Reliable and organised
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in German and English, Czech/Polish desirable
