Your Mission: As Lead Designer Brand & Marketing (m/f/d), you will strategically evolve the visual identity of ab in den urlaub, define and optimize the brand design of our online travel portal, shape our brand sustainably, and create consistent brand experiences that emotionally inspire while delivering measurable performance. You combine a strong creative vision with clear structure – aligning design, brand, and performance across all channels.

Your tasks

  • Strategic development and maintenance of our brand design that translate our new brand positioning into compelling visual identity
  • Ensuring a clear, differentiating visual brand identity  
  • Development of design systems that are both brand-strong and performance-oriented  (strong focus on conversion, user guidance, and user experience) 
  • Delivery of set of master designs / templates for key channels: E-commerce platform, Mobile screens, Performance ads and CRM templates  
  • Ensuring high visual and conceptual standards across all design outputs  
  • Promotion of innovative and impactful design  
  • Refresh/update and internal alignment of our brand guidelines 
  • Close collaboration with marketing teams and product design to ensure a unified brand experience across all touchpoints  

Your profile

  • Several years of professional experience in brand design, communication design, or art direction – ideally within digital business models or travel/lifestyle brands  
  • A compelling portfolio (brand + digital) with a clear conceptual and visual signature, demonstrating a strong understanding of brand management, design systems, and digital marketing design   
  • Solid knowledge in the following areas: Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO); UX/UI fundamentals and user journeys; A/B testing and data-driven design  
  • Very good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Figma/Sketch optional)  
  • A strong sense for trends, aesthetics, and visual consistency   
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with high quality standards 
  • Enjoy working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment 
  • Ideally based in Leipzig or elsewhere in Germany
