As Team Lead After Sales Vendor Management (m/f/d), you will take on the functional and disciplinary leadership of our after-sales team at the Leipzig and Berlin locations. You will manage internal operations as well as our external partner sites, develop strategies to improve service quality and efficiency, and drive the development of both your team and our external service providers. Regular travel to partner locations in Germany and abroad is naturally part of your responsibilities.
Your tasks
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of the After Sales Vendor Management team in Leipzig and Berlin
- Management and further development of external service centers (fulfillment locations) in Germany and abroad, including regular on-site visits
- Development and implementation of strategies to improve service quality, customer satisfaction, and process efficiency
- Ensuring strong after-sales performance based on relevant KPIs (e.g., NPS, FCR, AHT, SLA)
- Planning, execution, and quality assurance of onboarding sessions, trainings, and workshops for internal employees and external partners
- Motivating, coaching, and developing your team through regular feedback and performance discussions, including 1:1 coaching sessions, team huddles, and call listenings
- Preparing, analyzing, and interpreting KPI reports and deriving targeted measures for process and quality improvements
- Managing invoice and performance data as well as analyzing the monthly service delivery of external partners
- Close collaboration with the department lead, service leadership team, and internal stakeholders to continuously enhance the after-sales area
Your profile
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold a degree in sales, communication, or business administration – but more importantly, you bring extensive, successful hands-on experience.
- You have several years of experience in outbound sales, including multiple years in a leadership role with proven success in team management, motivation, and development.
- You are confident working with key metrics such as conversion rate, revenue/TTV, cancellation rate, and ancillary product attach rate, and you use these KPIs to derive targeted performance-improvement measures.
- You have experience in 1:1 coaching sessions, team huddles, and call listenings; ideally, you bring trainer experience in sales and actively support your team’s skills development.
- You optimize outbound processes, develop effective call scripts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, consent requirements for call recordings).
- You communicate clearly, empathetically, and solution-oriented — both in customer interactions and in team leadership.
- You possess excellent German skills (at least C1) as well as solid English skills (at least B2).
- Experience in the travel industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Experience with CRM and ACD systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Omnichannel) is a plus.
