As Outbound Manager (m/f/d), you will take ownership of our outbound sales activities and shape proactive customer engagement for telephone-based travel consulting. You will design and implement effective communication strategies, manage performance through clear KPIs, and continuously optimize processes – from creating impactful call scripts to developing modern coaching methods. With your expertise, you will drive customer satisfaction and team success alike.

Your tasks

  • Leadership & Coaching: Operational management of your team – from setting clear goals to regular 1:1 coaching sessions, call listenings, team huddles, and motivating employees.
  • Process & Conversation Development: Designing effective call scripts, optimizing outbound strategies, and establishing best practices for successful customer engagement.
  • Sales Management: Driving team performance with a focus on KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue/TTV, insurance and add-on product sales, productivity, and cancellation rate.
  • Scheduling & Service Hours: Ensuring reliable coverage of service hours and optimal team deployment.
  • Quality & Compliance: Safeguarding GDPR-compliant processes, correct consent for call recordings, and adherence to guidelines and work instructions, while deriving improvement measures.
  • Quality Assurance & Development: Ensuring service quality and consulting excellence through regular sales checks and monitoring.
  • Reporting: Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Care Sales and contributing insights to the continuous development of the department.

Your profile

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold a degree in Sales, Communications, or Business Administration – but even more important is your proven track record of long-term professional success.
  • You bring several years of experience in outbound sales, including multiple years in a leadership role with demonstrable achievements in team management, motivation, and development.
  • You are confident in working with KPIs such as conversion rate, revenue/TTV, cancellation rate, and add-on product quota, and you use these insights to implement targeted performance improvement measures.
  • You have experience in 1:1 coaching sessions, team huddles, and call listenings; ideally, you also have a background as a sales trainer and actively support your team in building competencies.
  • You optimize outbound processes, develop effective call scripts, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, call recording consent).
  • You stand out through clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented communication – both in customer interactions and in leading your team.
  • You have excellent German skills (at least C1) and solid English skills (at least B2).
  • Experience in the travel industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ACD systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Omnichannel) is a plus.
