In Germany, we operate across five locations with a team of around 350 employees.

For everything to run smoothly, financial clarity is essential. That’s exactly what we take care of in Accounting: making sure payments are recorded accurately and processes run seamlessly.

What drives us? The moment when numbers add up and accounts balance. We keep the big picture in mind – solving complex accounting challenges every day, booking internal transactions with precision, and reliably directing payment flows exactly where they’re needed – for colleagues, departments, and the entire company.

In Controlling, many threads come together – numbers, ideas, plans, and visions. We keep track of all financial flows within the company while also acting as strategic partners for the future: we don’t just manage the past, we help shape what’s ahead. To do this, we work with a multitude of key figures – but even more with responsibility. Our analyses lead to decisions that influence every area of the business. We are precise, analytical, and well connected – with colleagues, executives, partners, and investors alike.

To achieve this, we work with passion and efficiency in two closely connected areas: our Supplier Relations team handles the purchasing of package holidays, digital travel technologies, car rental solutions, and transfer services. At the same time, our in-house tour operator Tourini, with its specialized teams, continuously expands our portfolio. The largest of these is the Product team, where each member is responsible for specific target regions and ensures they are optimally positioned in the market.

This work is complemented by our Flights division, Support, and Supplier, Key Account, and Channel Management. Just as important as purchasing itself is building relationships and maintaining active exchange – because sustainable partnerships only grow through dialogue. As the central point of contact for our partner companies, we keep a close eye on technical details, pricing models, and performance, while also identifying new opportunities. Personal meetings, business trips, and industry events are part of our daily work – direct, reliable, and always on equal footing. Business travel and trade fair visits are a natural part of our everyday life. We are present – close to our partners and in tune with the heartbeat of the industry.

In Human Resources, we bring together what we believe is inseparable: clear structures and successful collaboration – both essential to our company’s success. We create reliable processes while also fostering spaces where people can grow together. Whether we’re attracting new travel enthusiasts or delighting existing customers, we rely on a balanced mix – and a sharp sense of impact and timing. We understand markets, analyze behavior, and create communication that works.

Our main focus is online – from SEO and CRM to social media. But we also run TV spots, sports sponsorships, and print campaigns. In specialized teams with a clear focus on performance, we continuously evolve our channels. For us, marketing doesn’t stop at the edge of a campaign: we work closely with Service, Product, and other departments. Because we know that great marketing connects – people, ideas, and platforms.

Our mission: to create the best digital products for travel – clear, intuitive, and with real added value. What sets us apart? Our passion for tourism and our instinct for the dynamics of e-commerce. With creativity, expertise, and strong team spirit, we develop concepts, designs, and applications – always with the goal of enhancing experiences and simplifying processes.

In Project Management, we coordinate, connect, and keep the big picture in mind. We are points of contact, idea generators, and problem solvers all at once. Our work thrives on exchange – with internal departments as well as external partners. Every project opens up new perspectives: from product optimizations and process integrations to design adjustments – we move many levers at the same time. In our interdisciplinary teams, openness, curiosity for different working styles, and solid technical understanding are key. Because where perspectives meet, the best ideas emerge.

  What may seem complicated to others is an exciting challenge for us in the Process Team: we bring structure to workflows and drive to the company’s architecture.
This is the strength of Business Operations. When you know the mission, you don’t need lengthy instructions. Our team knows every department in detail – and understands how everything interconnects. This holistic view is essential to executing operational tasks efficiently, proactively, and always aligned with overarching goals.

Few areas thrive on knowledge exchange as much as Business Operations. We ensure booking processes run smoothly and payments are processed securely. At the same time, we make sure the Service team has all the resources it needs to support users in the best possible way – with empathy, speed, and professionalism.

Another important part of our work is developing processes that minimize risks and build trust. In doing so, we actively contribute to making the company resilient and future-ready. For us, Business Operations means understanding, improving, connecting, and rethinking – again and again.

  Our Service department is diverse: in the Front Office, we provide personal advice and support in choosing the right options. In the Back Office, we handle inquiries via email, coordinate with partners, and assist through social media.

Leipzig

Leipzig is Invia’s beating heart in Germany. The headquarters of travel comparison sites such as ab-in-den-urlaub.de, fluege.de, Tourini and Hotelreservierung.de are located on Barfußgäßchen, the famous alley dotted with bars just off the market square. Since 2002, employees in this vibrant Saxon city have been developing innovative solutions to provide customers throughout Europe with user-friendly services for comparing thousands of offers from more than 50 tour operators and 550 airlines. Under the Invia Group umbrella, Leipzig is one of the largest locations in the seven countries in which Invia operates.

Jena

The Invia office in Jena has a prime city-centre location, making it easily accessible.
With its 110,000 inhabitants, the Thuringian university city of Jena is the second-largest city in the state after Erfurt. Following German reunification, Jena developed from an industrial centre to a hub for education and science. The university is the largest in Thuringia, with almost 20,000 students. The city has good potential as a business location, and Invia primarily has software developers and web designers working here on the company’s continued success.

Berlin

Invia’s capital city office is located in Alt-Treptow, a district that is growing in popularity and which has excellent transport links.

With a population of some 3.5 million, Berlin is Germany’s largest city and is considered a major centre for start-ups. The city’s large number of qualified IT specialists played a major role in our decision to open an office in the capital, where we mostly work on mobile apps from the likes of ab-in-den-urlaub.de. The site also hosts part of our service team.

Dresden

Since 2010, the capital of Saxony has been home to an IT branch for fluege.de and other brands. From here, our specialists mainly develop and support booking tools that enable customers and employees to manage flight bookings and fulfilment.

Chemnitz

Central Chemnitz is home to another of Invia’s development sites. Since 2010, employees in Saxony’s third-largest city have been working on the further advancement of web portals such as fluege.de and Hotelreservierung.de. Today, the office mainly looks after the IT side of air tourism. This includes not only portal developments, but also areas such as test automation and IT security.
